Łukasz is a seasoned financial investor and executive with over a 20-year track record in venture capital, private equity, energy and infrastructure investing.
He has held C-suite and board roles across the
energy, financial, and industrial sectors, such as a management board member of the Marguerite Fund. Łukasz has led and executed transactions ranging from €20 million to €250 million across the energy and technology sectors, bringing deep expertise in scaling capital-intensive businesses. Prior to Montis VC, he also held senior management positions at Bank PKO BP S.A., focusing on infrastructure and technology investments. He is a frequent speaker and expert on infrastructure, VC and technology innovation in the European Union.

Wojtek is a finance and investment veteran with over 20 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking and the energy sector. He spent six years as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs in London, covering the Central & Eastern Europe region, and played a key leadership role in the sale of one of the largest energy companies in Poland, serving there as a management board member. Wojtek’s career began on the Paris Stock Exchange followed by a role at JP Morgan. Alongside his corporate background, he has been active in the VC ecosystem with a strong focus on tech-enabled and industrial investments.

Michał has 10 years of experience in finance and venture capital. Over his career, he has completed numerous early-stage investments and supported companies from the first institutional round through growth. He has also participated in large-scale M&A transactions and contributed to strategy development for established organizations. In addition to his investing background, Michał has worked operationally within technology companies, partnering closely with founders on key scaling challenges - especially fundraising and business development. This combination of investor and operator experience enables him to help exceptional teams execute, scale, and achieve their goals.

Michał has 10 years of experience in venture capital, including direct investments in Pre-Seed, Seed, Series A, as well as Fund-of-Funds. He backed multiple founders, supported their growth and subsequent fundraising processes. He brings a deep understanding of the European early-stage investing ecosystem. In addition to his professional experience, Michał maintains a portfolio of angel investments, keeping great founders and ideas as close as possible.

Jakub is an associate with 6 years of experience in venture capital, consulting and startups. He has supported investment processes from sourcing to execution, with strong focus on market and commercial diligence. Jakub's prior experience includes consulting and strategy advisory roles, as well as involvement in startup operations, giving him a pragmatic perspective on scaling early-stage companies and evaluating opportunities in industrial and energy tech.

Kamil has 6 years of experience in venture capital and family office ecosystem, specializing in the identification and evaluation of potential projects. His unique edge is the operational experience gained as the founder of EdTech platform that leverages artificial intelligence to automate and enhance online learning. As a Strategy Innovation graduate, Kamil effectively translates theoretical startup lifecycle models into tangible business results, with a strong focus on building a technological competitive advantage.

Ewa serves as Head of Legal and Compliance at Montis VC, bringing over 5 years of experience in corporate law and transactional work in venture capital and private markets. She has led and supported numerous investment transactions as well as the development of legal structures, and serves on the supervisory board of one of the portfolio companies. Ewa’s expertise ensures strong legal foundations and effective corporate governance throughout the fund’s investment lifecycle.

Tomasz brings over 25 years of experience spanning C-suite leadership, entrepreneurship, and private investment. As the founder of one of Poland's leading workforce and HR services companies - which he scaled and took to public listing - he built firsthand expertise across HR, workforce management and IT services. Following his operating career, Tomasz transitioned fully into the investment world, founding his own investment vehicle with 9 successful tech investments to date. He sits on supervisory boards of leading Polish companies in IT software and renewable energy, giving him a front-row seat to the sectors Montis VC cares about most. A Harvard Business School alumnus, Tomasz combines deep operational experience with a sharp eye for where technology is heading. Active in Poland's leading entrepreneurial communities, he brings one of the strongest networks in the Polish business ecosystem to Montis VC.

Taavi brings a rare combination of statecraft and deep tech experience to Montis VC. He served as Prime Minister of Estonia, leading the country's transformation into e-Estonia - one of the world's most advanced digital societies, recognised globally for its pioneering work in e-government, e-voting, e-health, and digital residency. Since leaving office, Taavi has moved fully into the technology and investment world as Business Angel and advisor on digital transformation across Europe. His unique edge - having governed a digital-first nation and built tech ventures from the ground up - gives him a distinctive lens on the founders re-engineering critical infrastructure
